Overview
We’ve upgraded our ‘Full EOB’ file format (PDF) so that PR3 codes are now managed in their own columns. It’s a small formatting change that will have a big impact for our customers who use EOBs to manually post checks and payments in their system.
Previously, the “Other Adjustments” section in the Full EOB file included the common PR situations - deductible, co-insurance, co-payments. However, we found this format made it difficult for our customers to export and import this information into other applications or systems.
The new format makes the ‘Full EOB’ PDF file easier to read, easier to export/import into external PM system’s, and easier to reconcile 835 data. Deductible, Coinsurance and Copay amounts will no longer be found in the ADJ/AMTS, but will be found under their respective PR Columns.
