Claim editing just got easier with our new “Transfer Patient to Subscriber” button! Users now have the ability to quick-fill content from the Patient to the Subscriber snippets with one simple click.
Intelliclaim > Claims > select claim > Patient snippet
The “Transfer Patient to Subscriber” button transfers the data from the Patient snippet to the Subscriber snippet. In technical parlance, the 2010CA Patient data is transferred to the 2010BA Subscriber loop.
Why is this important? Oftentimes, payers like Medicaid consider patients to actually be the subscriber on claims. Rather than have our users continue to manually copy/paste information across these snippets, we’ve built in the ability to make this change with one click of a button.
How to Use
To transfer data, Select the Patient Snippet and simply click the button. Refresh your browser after 2-3 seconds. Viola! The Relationship is updated to SELF on the Subscriber and the Patient Details are removed.
